In 2002, after 12 years of distinguished
service, Hon. Eugene Siegel, Commissioner, retired from the Los
Angeles Superior Court. Prior to serving on the Los Angeles
Superior Court, Judge Siegel was elected to the Antelope
Municipal Court. Judge Siegel practiced family civil law and
criminal defense in Los Angeles and Antelope Valley, and has
taught at the Glendale College of Law, Antelope Valley College
and guest lectured at USC. Judge Siegel continues teaching
criminal law and evidence at Antelope Valley College.

INTERESTS:
Enjoys music and was a former professional
musician playing with Gil Evans, Stan Kenton, Lou Rawls and
others. Judge Siegel is also a Ham Radio operator, and spent two
years in the Citrus College learning optical fabrication for
building large telescopes.
