He has also handled many real estate, business, malpractice (legal, dental, medical), contract disputes, product liability, lemon law, admiralty disputes, and all areas of employment law and police and fire litigation.

  • Fully certified by the Los Angeles Superior Court, all Districts. Also qualified by all Courts in Kern, Orange County and Ventura Counties. This certification is on all panels except family law, by choice.

JUDGE PRO TEM:

  • (1981-1991) Sat weekly in the Night Small Claims Court for the Los Angeles Municipal Court, Division 65. For over five years, Mr. Friedman was in charge of the Small Claims Master Calendar court room at night, averaging in excess of seventy five matters per session, which had been increased more than two-fold since he became involved with the program.

  • (June 1987 - December 1988) Sat on a weekly basis in the Van Nuys Court house in Traffic Infraction Trials, Division 114. Mr. Friedman was the primary replacement assuming no schedule conflicts for the Commissioner in the Traffic Arraignment Court, Division 113.
